Helping the local community!

Today (11/05/20) I put together lots of food bags for people in the local community! After putting out a request for donations on social media two weeks ago, getting a lot of responses from friends and family and going on my own shopping trip, I finally brought everything together and this was the result:

And this was only the food!...

We also got lots of toiletries which is really important because often when people don't have very much money, the luxuries like nice shampoo and shower gel get thrown out the window. Sometimes it's important to pick them back up again and put them in someone's life, even if it's just for a little while, because it might just make them smile and feel a little more confident, especially in times like these.

I guess this is what this post is about; thinking about others and being a community, similar to my message in my post on kindness. Is there someone in your community who might appreciate a food parcel? Or maybe just a chat? Have a think and if you like, share your ideas on the forum for this post :)
